Fully Funded Education Opportunity Opened for Matric Position Holders

The Government of Balochistan has officially introduced a fully funded scholarship programme aimed at supporting high-achieving matriculation students across all districts of the province for the year 2026. The initiative has been launched under the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) and is titled the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Matric District Toppers Scholarship, following special directives issued by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti. According to BEEF Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Khalid Mandai, the programme has been designed to recognize and financially assist talented students who secured top positions in the 2026 matric examinations. Under this merit-based scheme, the top ten students from each district will be selected, including five male and five female candidates to ensure equal representation. A provisional merit list has already been compiled using official data provided by the relevant educational boards responsible for conducting the annual examinations. However, authorities have clarified that the list is not final, and students who believe they meet the criteria but are missing from the list may submit objections for review. All applications and objections must be submitted to the BEEF office before 30 June 2026 along with required supporting documents.
