Pakistan Introduces Fresh University Opportunities for Students from Bangladesh

Pakistan and Bangladesh are strengthening educational ties as the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan launched the second phase of its Higher Education Expo series in Bangladesh under the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor initiative. The opening expo in Dhaka featured participation from 20 leading Pakistani universities, presenting a wide range of academic programs, scholarships, and research opportunities for Bangladeshi students. The expo series will continue in several major Bangladeshi cities, helping students explore opportunities in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Medical Sciences, Engineering, Aviation, and Data Sciences. Officials from both countries highlighted the importance of academic collaboration, student exchange programs, and institutional partnerships in promoting regional development and knowledge sharing. Bangladesh’s education leadership praised the initiative and encouraged students to apply for the fully funded Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships offered by the Government of Pakistan. Under this program, 500 scholarships are being provided to Bangladeshi students, while the first batch has already started studies at Pakistani universities. The initiative also includes professional training opportunities aimed at strengthening broader bilateral cooperation between the two neighboring countries
