Developed under youth focused initiatives associated with Maryam Nawaz, the platform seeks to deliver rapid emergency assistance, expert guidance, and essential safety services through a unified mobile application. According to PSCA officials, users can instantly connect for help during emergencies while also accessing multiple support facilities via their smartphones in a streamlined manner. The initiative is intended to improve communication between the public and relevant departments ensuring faster response times and more efficient handling of critical situations. Officials stated that the launch represents Punjab’s continued commitment toward digital governance and citizen centered services with a special focus on youth empowerment. The NextGen Safety App is now available for download on Android and iOS platforms allowing citizens to access safety tools directly through their mobile devices.
