Major Update: e-Khidmat Centres Enable PPSC Exam Fee Deposits

Punjab government’s e-Khidmat centres have launched a new and convenient facility enabling candidates across the province to submit Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) examination fees with greater ease and transparency. Under this initiative, applicants can now visit any designated e-Khidmat centre and complete their fee payment without facing long queues, manual delays, or complicated banking procedures. The service is available at all operational centres across Punjab, ensuring equal access for candidates from both urban and rural areas. Each centre remains open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily, providing a structured and reliable timeframe for citizens to complete their transactions smoothly and efficiently. Officials stated that the move is part of Punjab’s broader digital governance strategy aimed at improving public service delivery and reducing procedural burdens. The e-Khidmat network, established by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), was designed to bring multiple government services under one roof, minimizing bureaucratic hurdles, corruption risks, and unnecessary paperwork. At present, 15 e-Khidmat centres are operational in major cities including Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, and others, collectively offering more than 160 public services. Since its launch, over eight million citizens have benefited from this system, which boasts a reported 99.9 percent service success rate, highlighting its efficiency and reliability in modernizing governance across Punjab.
