Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Announces New Biometric Requirement for Medical Entry Test
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has introduced stricter requirements for MDCAT 2026, making biometric verification a compulsory step for all candidates appearing in the exam. As per the latest announcement, students will be required to complete biometric authentication during the examination process to confirm their identity and eliminate the risk of impersonation. In addition to this, candidates below 18 years of age must present a valid Juvenile Registration Card issued by the National Database and Registration Authority in order to be eligible to sit for the test. Authorities have urged applicants to carefully review their documents and ensure everything is valid and up to date before the exam date to avoid any last-minute complications. The move is part of broader efforts to improve the integrity of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test system by enhancing security measures and ensuring a fair and transparent evaluation process. Officials believe that these changes will help create a more reliable and standardized testing environment for aspiring medical students across Pakistan.
