The LAT is a compulsory requirement for admission into five-year law degree programs offered by universities and affiliated law colleges nationwide. According to HEC, students can submit their applications online through the Education Testing Council portal before the registration deadline on May 25, 2026. Authorities have advised applicants to complete the process early to avoid last-minute technical issues or delays. The commission also confirmed that the LAT examination will take place on June 21, 2026. Only candidates who successfully clear the test will be eligible to apply for admission in undergraduate law programs. HEC further encouraged students to carefully read all instructions, eligibility criteria, and application guidelines before submitting their forms.
