Big Opportunity: HEC Launches Fully Funded US Scholarships 2026

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has officially invited applications for its fully funded PhD scholarship program under the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor initiative, creating a major opportunity for Pakistani students to study at some of the most prestigious universities in the United States. This program is designed to support talented individuals who aim to pursue advanced research and academic excellence abroad. Under this scheme, students who gain admission into universities ranked within the top 50 globally will receive complete financial support, which includes tuition coverage, a monthly living stipend, and health insurance. For those admitted to institutions ranked between 51 and 100, partial funding will be provided, including annual tuition assistance of up to $12,000 along with stipend and insurance benefits. The initiative reflects Pakistan’s long-term vision to improve higher education standards, strengthen research output, and develop a highly skilled academic workforce capable of contributing to national development. By promoting international exposure, the program encourages innovation and knowledge exchange between institutions. Applicants are required to submit their applications through the official HEC portal before the deadline of April 30, 2026.
