Fatah-IV Cruise Missile Successfully Tested by Pakistan
Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command has successfully conducted a test launch of the indigenously developed Fatah-IV ground-launched cruise missile, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Officials stated that the missile is equipped with advanced avionics, modern navigation technology, and precision strike capabilities designed to engage long-range targets with improved accuracy and operational effectiveness. The training launch was carried out to evaluate the performance of various technical sub-systems and strengthen troop readiness under combat conditions. Senior military officials, scientists, and engineers involved in the missile development program witnessed the successful test. President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal Asim Munir praised the efforts of all teams contributing to the achievement, while the chiefs of the Navy and Air Force also appreciated the professionalism displayed during the operation. The latest launch follows previous successful tests of the Fateh missile series, including the recently introduced Fatah-3 supersonic cruise missile capable of travelling at speeds between Mach 3 and Mach 4. Defence analysts say these developments reflect Pakistan’s continued focus on strengthening indigenous defence technology and strategic capabilities.
