The wicketkeeper-batter achieved the feat in explosive fashion, smashing a six off spinner Mohammad Nawaz on the fifth ball of the third over, bringing up a long-awaited career milestone in style. Entering the match just 19 runs short with 981 PSL runs, the Peshawar-born cricketer went on to score a quickfire 40 off only 17 deliveries, an innings filled with four towering sixes and three boundaries before being dismissed by Australian pacer Peter Siddle in the fifth over. With this achievement, Haris became the 31st player in Pakistan Super League history to cross 1,000 runs, joining elite names such as Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, and Sarfaraz Ahmed.
