120 Million Liters of Oil Safely Reach Pakistan Under Navy Protection
In a major development for the country’s energy security, two large commercial vessels carrying more than 100 million liters of oil have successfully arrived at the port of Karachi after departing from Fujairah. The shipments were transported under the protection of the Pakistan Navy to ensure safe passage amid ongoing regional maritime uncertainties and shipping disruptions. Officials from the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation confirmed that the vessels docked safely, delivering a vital supply of fuel that will help strengthen the country’s strategic reserves and support daily energy needs. Speaking on the development, Junaid Anwar praised the coordinated efforts of maritime authorities and naval forces in securing the crucial shipment. He emphasized that the successful transit will contribute to stabilizing fuel availability for transportation and other essential sectors. Meanwhile, federal authorities revealed that diplomatic efforts are ongoing to facilitate the safe release of two additional commercial vessels currently delayed in the Persian Gulf, highlighting the government’s commitment to maintaining stable supply chains.
