China Extends $200,000 Support to Families of Students Killed in Iran Attack

China has announced a $200,000 humanitarian donation to support the families of students who lost their lives in a devastating missile strike on a girls’ school in the city of Minab during the early days of the ongoing Iran–Israel conflict escalation. According to officials, the funds will be provided through the Red Cross Society of China and transferred to the Iranian Red Crescent Society to help provide financial assistance and compensation to the grieving families. In an official statement, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China strongly condemned the strike on the school, describing it as a grave violation of international humanitarian law and a tragic reminder of the devastating human cost of armed conflict. Chinese authorities emphasized that the aid is meant to support humanitarian relief efforts and bring some measure of assistance to parents and relatives affected by the tragedy. The move also reflects Beijing’s call for restraint and greater protection of civilians, particularly children, in conflict zones across the Middle East.
