Start Your Tech Career: Punjab Launches CM IT Internship Program 2026
The Government of Punjab has officially launched registrations for the second batch of the Chief Minister IT Internship Program, offering fresh graduates a valuable opportunity to enter the professional tech industry. This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world experience by connecting young talent with leading IT companies across the province. Selected participants will undergo five months of hands-on training in a professional work environment, allowing them to develop practical skills, strengthen their portfolios, and understand industry standards. The program also provides a monthly stipend of Rs. 50,000, which will be awarded based on performance and verification of a degree attested by the Higher Education Commission. To be eligible, applicants must hold a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, have graduated within the last four years, and possess a valid CNIC along with a Punjab domicile. Applications can be submitted through the official internship portal, while additional support is available via helpline and email assistance. Officials emphasize that the program aims to enhance employability, encourage skill development, and prepare graduates for successful careers in Pakistan’s rapidly expanding digital and IT sector.
